Tamiya kit, 1/35 scale~ My second armor, my second OD and my first Mediterranean theatre work~ Errr....Finally "done" after almost a year. (* I got this kit June 6, 2005. )
Same methods as my first work. ^^ The kit was older than me (*1978 ) so there were a lot of flash and missing details, extreme sanding and improvisations remedied the situation. I thought I'd go all out on the dusting since the tank operated in the desert.
The replacement cupola M1919 .30 Browning MG with the accompanying tripod and ammunition boxes came from Academy's US Machine Gun Set. The other stowage options were given to my by
Markings depict tank 2, C company, 1st Battalion, 13th Armored Regiment of the 1st U.S. Armored Division in Tunisia, 1942. My first time working with decals so please forgive the silverings. (*and chipped ID band. ) About the tracks, yes I know the links are all in the wrong places but it did come with the kit (*and it was made of vinyl) so there was nothing I can do about it... And I cannot afford those expensive aftermarket replacement tracks.
Thanks loads as usual to for the pics~~

I prefer the Shermans and the Grants. Bigger, but more bang for your buck. Very nice work though. I could never paint any. I have about 50 unpainted world war planes and tanks and ships in my wardrobe.
